Erica Winston has been digging up the RGC history for many years as Club Historian. She is also trained as a NGC Accredited flower show judge and has participated as a floral designer in Art in Bloom in past years. She teaches floral design at RGC and in other clubs in the area.
Erica will present some great ideas for holiday decorating culled from our 100 years of floral design used to decorate public buildings; the Executive Mansion, NC’s historic State Capitol building, and Transitions LifeCare Hospice. From the Della Robbia style designs of the 1930s, Colonial Revival designs and 1960s flights of space age materials for sparkling trees to the New Age whimsical fairy mantel, her photographs will be accompanied by real-life recreations that will be raffled off to enliven your holidays at home.
